Remove and Replace
Procedures
8-1 INTRODUCTION This chapter provides procedures for removing and replacing 373XXA
field exchangeable assemblies and components. When using these pro
-
cedures, please observe the warning and caution notices below.
WARNING
Hazardous voltages are present inside the instrument
when ac line power is connected. Turn off the instrument
and remove the line cord before removing any covers or
panels.
CAUTION
Many assemblies in the 373XXA contain static-sensitive
components. Improper handling of these assemblies may
result in damage to the assemblies. Always observe the
static-sensitive component handling precautions described
in Chapter 1, Figure 1-2.
8-2 EQUIPMENT REQUIRED All procedures in this chapter require the use of either a #1 or #2 size
Phillips type screw driver. Any additional tool requirements are speci

fied at the beginning of each procedure.
